Kash & MISSPSTAR team up for ‘EGO’ Visual

New York powerhouse vocalist and songwriter Kash delivers another stunning visual for her latest single ‘Ego’ featuring Harlem rapper Misspstar.

The hard hitting R&B/Pop single is brought to life by award-winning director Kathleen Sheehan and Sam Cowan (DP). Sheehan’s inspiration for the video was derived from “Kash describing how she and her producer Perry Longo recorded the song with no pressure and simply having fun”.

The creative duo behind the videos for “Don’t Let Me Go,” and “Cycles” showcase the larger-than-life performance by Kash and Misspstar using a simple set design, natural sunlight, quick cuts, and glitches.

“Ego” gives the audience a glimpse of a stripped down, “tell it like it is,” Kash that the world might not be familiar with. The vibrant fashion statements in the music video callback Kash’s Indian ethnicity and shed light on the over-sexualization of women of color. “Ego” is a declaration of ownership of one’s body, mind, and soul.
