JEMMA SILES WANTS OUT OF HER HEAD IN NEW RELATABLE POP TRACK

‘out of my head’ plays with references of isolation in ones own mind needing others to aid in the extraction of your own negative thoughts surrounding you. Taking inspiration from Taylor Swift and Charlotte Lawrence, Jemma Siles has worked together with Robert Amoruso (Jakubi) and Benjamin Oldland to find her own sound within this new track. The title ‘out of my head’ was kept in lower case but every lyric of this song should be written in all caps. Siles’ lyrics seem to be written as if a stand alone poem, she pens an emotional line “angel in the dark” that captures the image that even though you may be in a bad situation you are not a bad person. The beautiful and vulnerable pop record is a perfect addition to her catalog and my playlist, an addictive and relatable track.

Alongside this record Jemma Siles will release an article and video (TBC) that talks about the prevalence of mental health in our society and how we can individually help or seek help when in need.
