Fyra releases ‘kai’
Fyra releases a relatable new single ‘Kai’. The tracks has a very calming charm about it but speaks on a common topic. The track is about music falling on deaf ears but still finding the courage to stay creative.
‘My father in law came up with an acronym for my son’s name Kai “kisses and insults”. The title inspired me to write about my struggle of staying inspired and following my dreams of being a singer/songwriter even though at times it feels like I fall on deaf ears. On the bridge, I explain why I still make music, “This one for my mother; my biggest fan no matter. This one’s for my father; told me to do better”. I hope one day my son Kai listens to this song and it will encourage him to keep dreaming.” – Fyra
Hailing from Los Angeles, Fyra offers up melodic and rhythmic soundscapes that draw on his numerous influences as an artist while displaying his own musical originality and crooning vocal style. With over a decade spent writing and perfecting his art in a gamut of musical outfits, Fyra has now discovered his true sound in a seamless blend of his experiences and tastes, stating: “I’ve always been drawn to things that are melody-driven, but I also want to make music that can be played very, very loud!”.
